"GANOLD BRAKE LINING. (Moulded in Rolls) After much research and experiment we have produced a Lining supplied in rolls which, whilst being flexible, possesses all the chief features of Die-pressed Linings. The advantage of this is at once apparent as it removes the necessity of carrying a large stock of Die-pressed Liners in a very wide variety of dimensions and mouldings. The flexibility of "GANOLD" Lining enables a short length to be shaped or bent in conformity with the radius of any Brake Shoe that it is desired to re-line. One of the chief features of this Lining is its high co-efficient of friction, producing the maximum braking effect under all conditions. Associated with this characteristic is a low wear figure. When in service the Lining hardens, increasing durability, but without incurring any loss of braking efficiency. "GANOLD" Lining is of an attractive light colour and is supplied with one face ground to a uniform friction surface, thereby eliminating any chance of reduced braking surface due to high spots as is frequently experienced with woven Linings. "GANOLD" Lining is supplied in all lengths up to 100 feet or more in one roll, and of any width and thickness. | ||
