Dear Sirs,

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 1st instant, and regret to learn that you have had some trouble with flooding on the EEC-42 carburetter, which trouble you have traced to the condition of the top of the float needle.

We have taken up this matter with our Works, and in future we can assure you that this point will have very careful attention.

We beg to apologise for the trouble you have had, and remain.
