Leyland,
Lancs.

Dear Sirs,

FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. GOLLOP.
-----------------------------

You will recall that some time ago we asked you to make up some heater couplings to scheme SCD.1042, we are anxious to obtain some more of these coupling pieces and we are accordingly sending you twelve metal pieces under separate cover, six being in brass and six in miled steel. We shall be glad, therefore, if you would make up these coupling pieces and suggest that you use varying durometer hardnesses of rubber for the various couplings.

We attach drawing DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}2561 which gives the general dimensions, and is as you will see designed for a flexable tube to be sweated to the bushes. This construction of course you will ignore.

We are sending a official order for this job and it will no doubt follow in the course of a day or so. We should be glad if you would treat the couplings as urgent.

Yours faithfully,

DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - CHASSIS.
ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
