To RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /TMW. X4215 EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T6.1.21. 2 X.4215 - BLERIOT PHI CUT-OUT. X.3749 X.3743 We are handing you herewith the second Bleriot Phi cut-out received by us, the first having gone to Mr. Royce for his inspection. We require this cut-out fitting to chassis 2 EX in accordance with the attached instructions. You will notice that it is necessary to remove the Lucas switchbox entirely and alter two connections. You will recall that we have already instructed the Lucas switchbox to be removed for a hole to be cut in the case. Would you, therefore, kindly arrange to have both these matters carried out at the same time and, as previously asked for, the switchbox to be submitted to us for inspection before being replaced on the car. We are obtaining 10 more of these cut-outs as Mr. Royce is desirous of standardising these on the new system in place of the Smith. The cut-outs received will be fitted to all possible experimental, test and trials cars. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
