32-EX - SPECIFICATION.

CHASSIS.

(1) Radiator. Fit new matrix unit to be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.
(2) Fit new steam valve set to blow at 2 1/2 -3 lbs square inch by pressure test.
(3) Fit set of adjustable ball ends as on Continental radiator.
(4) Set of radiator shutters as instructed under HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}2/VS.{J. Vickers}9.3.37.
(5) Dash. Fit extruded aluminium bonnet rest angles, together with wider rest fabric to design scheme.
(6) Thermometer. Fit Thermometer with flexible capillary supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.
(7) .250" bore feed line from high lift pumps in frame to carburetter direct without filter. Compare with standard layout for hot starting.
(8) Retain present rear silencer and tail pipe.
(9) Fit "Aluminized" downtake pipes and intermediate pipe.
(10) Removed raised front engine mounting and fit standard mounting.
(11) Modified pump trial switch.
(12) Standard G.5 pump to be mounted on the dash, but not piped up.
(13) High pressure pump to remain in the frame.
(14) Rear Axle Pinion nose hardened.
(15) S/ZN hardened pinion bearing adjustment washer.
(16) Overdrive gearbox, No. 15 HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
(17) Front Dampers N.Sch. 4946.
(18) Rear Spring 201 (Firth's No.)
