-2- Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} The motor was then rested for a period of 15 mins, and restarted at 20 P.R.P.M. The flow recommenced almost immediately, but ceased after 1 1/4 mins - quantity, of fuels delivered 45 cc's. The pump was kept running, and the flow recommenced after 4 1/4 mins. This condition would arise should the engine be stopped for any length of time when running on RESERVE, and attempting to restart on a low battery. Switching back to MAIN after running on RESERVE gave very similar results. Possibly a float controlled air vent in the tank would have overcome this difficulty, but since the reduction of the volume of the suction system gave batter all round results without any added complications, these tests were not continued.
