We understand that on production the chassis weight of G.111. exceeds that of G.11. by 200 lbs.

From the following figures it will be seen that we are unable to account for more than ~~[illegible]~~ 150 lbs. by the alterations incurred.

G.111. Gearbox complete with servo, change speed lever and brkt. and brake lever. 117.0 lbs.

G.11. Gearbox complete with change speed and brake lever. 79.62 lbs.
Difference in weight - 37.38 lbs.

The weight of complete set of tie rods for G.111. is - 27 lbs.

Tie rods complete with jaws & bushes 14.187 lbs.
Pedestals complete 5.562 "
Stiffeners and bolts 2.562 "
Brackets and bolets 4.687 "

TOTAL = 27.000 lbs.

G.11. Front axle. 215 lbs.
G.111. Front axle. 275 lbs.
Difference in weight - 60 lbs.

G.11. Rear axle. 269.5 lbs.
G.111. Rear axle. 274 "
Difference in weight. 4.5 lbs.

GII FRONT SPRING FS{F. Steele}3163. 36" Centres 22 LBS.
GIII " " 38" Centres Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 28.5 LBS.
Difference per car - 6.5 LBS.
