TIMING NEW CAMSHAFT E.82448 1140.

We have established that the best results are obtained with a timing (measured with .020 tappet clearance) where the inlet valve does not open earlier than 2° B.T.C. or close later than 50° A.T.C.

The timing, measured at the mean of these two positions, is approximately:-

Top: 2°
Right: IN 50
Bottom Left: EX 50
Center: .020 CLOSE
