To Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X4038 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/LG11.5.29. X3066 With reference to Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}8/M1O.5.29. When these std. sheets were started, we hoped that the gauges would be fitted to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} series of the 40/50 HP. and O.{Mr Oldham} series on the 20 HP. At a period subsequent to the commencement of the standardisation sheet circulation however, trouble was experienced with the K.S. petrol gauge and fitting it was therefore postponed until we were able to complete further development work. We are now completely satisfied with the K.S. petrol gauge, but the earliest we can bring it in is on the 51st. series on 'O' series for the 20 HP. and J.2. series on the 40/50 HP.
