Huckerby} OUR REF. MCW/JM.{Mr Morley} 18th. October, 1939. W.A. Robotham Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY. Dear Robotham, In reply to your letter of October 14th., your bloke called here on Monday and as I expect you know, has taken one of the Studebaker headlamps back to Derby with him. In the normal course of events, we would not be able to turn the Studebaker over to you all in one piece inside about a month, but if you are particularly anxious to have it soon I might be able to accelerate this. Alternatively, I could let you have it in bits, less possibly the gearbox which we want to draw, at any time you like. We have got the figures on the engine. Yours sincerely, pp. M.C. Wilks.
