1015 To Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/MH.{M. Huckerby}13.11.39. Please give Mr. Daniell the necessary information with regard to the spring pads and shock absorber brackets on both the axles for Ripplet and Rippletto. We suggest that you draw out the Studebaker axle, fit it on the Rippletto with exactly the right track and spring seats and send it to Mr. Daniell so that he can get one made up. In the meantime, is there anything to stop us using the actual axle off the Studebaker if we weld new spring seats on ? This confirms that we are going to submit to MacLaglan our own axle and the Salisbury axle to see what basic difference in cost there is between the two designs.
