11-9-14.

With reference to your memo of 8/9/14 addressed to Mr Platford, we certainly think that we could supply you with a car which would be more profitable to the firm for you to run than a standard car.

We wish to subject to a lengthy road test some new scraper ring Pistons and we could also fit to the car the proposed Ferodo Brake Liners. These however could not be done immediately as we have not the parts yet.

We shall be glad to know how soon you require the car and also whether an open touring car would be suitable for the purpose you have in mind.

[Handwritten Note]
Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 12/9/14 I would will try anything you want reported on. I have already started on the work with 49EB but could of course change to another car any time. An open touring car would do all right provided it has a hood & screen.
