He reported that this was the 3rd cyl head & envelope cracked in 'normal'(?) use - In all cases the engine had boiled but in conditions not abnormal

He made more efficient. Assuming that it is the boiling and hard running which have caused the valve seat to crack *it is rather disturbing to think that the penalty for boiling the water should be such a heavy one.*
On examining the chassis we also find that the flange of the front cross member is cracked in the same place as the crack on 59H. Please send out a new cross member and let me know the easiest way to fit it as I remember there is some trouble in getting it into the frame.
The tie rod under the rear axle is also quite loose similar to 59H.
The rear axle spring rests are both loose on the axle tubes and are fidgeting about. It may be found necessary to fit there on a slow taper with solid keys to take the drive as the loads seem to be heavy.
We are also being troubled by stones hitting the aluminium brake covers and bending them so that they rub on the brake drums. One has had to be straightened so often that the metal
