20 HP. STEERING. X52430

It does not appear that we shall materially improve the steering geometry on this car for some little time to come. Even with our present standard side steering tube springs, the joggles are a source of complaint.

Although R.{Sir Henry Royce} has condemned friction in the column, if opportunity occurs, it would be worth inducing him to test it on the 20 HP. car he now has down there.

When the car left here, we removed all the friction from the column.
