Many thanks for your memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les3/KW.4.6.36 and photograph attached.

From experience which we have now gained, there is no doubt that the complaints received concerning shock absorber knocks on 20/25 HP. and Bentley chassis have been due, in the greater number of cases, to a slight slackness which has existed in the bushes and the shaft of the main lever.

We have overcome the trouble on several cars by fitting close fit hand scraped bushes.
