contd :- -2- only that if a considerable pressure velocity factor is contemplated the low pressure passage might with advantage be made more tortuous. Graph 11. shews that quite a large pressure velocity factor can be introduced and yet the damper loading remain substantially independent of its temperature. The only objection to the dampers as fitted up on 14-EX is that we do not expect the low pressure loading at high axle velocities to remain the same in very hot weather.
