Re. Rear Spring Brackets.

Na.{Mr Nadin} EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}26/T/W13314.

Please note we are about to deliver 2900 series, the first 20 or so of which series are fitted with spring brackets, piece No. F.4218.

Please confirm that these have been passed satisfactorily and that we are O.K. in allowing chassis to be fitted with this bracket.

EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}

Mr Wormald Mar. 16.14. Do the Exp. Dept. agree to these going out, as the result of their tests on this part.
T.N.

Mr Mercer. Very urgent.
Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}

17.3.14.

Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} I do not know the bracket F4218. If F4273 is meant this has run satisfactorily on the bumping test for 8 hours. I do not think any harm will come to it but will continue the test further before issuing final report.
Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}
