O.{Mr Oldham} In reference to your memo SV1/V11115, we are not quite sure what particulars you wish us to send you. The chassis test report as we understand it here is of course a report issued by the testers specifying the faults which exist on the chassis during the early stages of the test, which are all remedied before the chassis is despatched, and this therefore is not of much value to anyone after the car has left. With reference to the Springs, if you think these are incorrect it would be better if you would kindly send us the exact weights on the front and back axle for the complete car, together with the weight of the average number of passengers and luggage etc. to be carried, we could then let you know exactly what springs we recommend. The springs at present fitted are on the assumption that the Front Axle weighs 2180 lbs and the Rear Axle 2755 lbs. if the actual weight of the | ||
