For attention of Mr. F.J.Hardy.
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
D E R B Y.

Dear Sirs,

We acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 5th inst. and fully appreciate that your interest in the Aircraft Industry is such that you have made it a rule not to show guests around your Works. This is understandable at the present time, and we are sure that Mr. Louis Defresne of the Peugeot Co. will appreciate this too.

As explained in our earlier letter Mr. Louis Dufresne is visiting the Motor Exhibition in London on Monday the 19th inst. and will be in London for 2 or 3 days. The writer is sure that he will be pleased to meet Mr. Hardy in London if convenient, and we will make enquiries for Mr. Hardy, at the time, on your Stand at the Exhibition.

Yours faithfully,
For BRITISH TIMKEN LTD.,
[Illegible Signature]
Sales Manager, Automotive Division.
