Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}11/MJ. March 24th, 1932. M.Olley Esq., Cadillac Motor Car Co., Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. Dear Cy, Thank you very much for your notes on steering. It was exactly what I wanted. I find that there has been some hitch in the despatch of the S.U. carburetter but I have not been able to get hold of Mr. Skinner, the Director of the Company, to find out whether it has actually been sent off. However, I will make sure that it does go before long. With regard to your query re. quiet centrifugal superchargers. I am afraid we have absolutely no experience in making a quiet centrifugal blower, and judging by the noise which ours makes when it is driven on a rig by the Phantom II engine, our existing design cannot be said to fulfil the bill in any way. However, if we do anything in this direction I will let you know. Yours sincerely, | ||
