RE BATTERY FOR BUICK CAR X.3314

In answer to your Rl/G2.7.19., we only have two 6-volt batteries, which are in use alternatively on the Packard Car, and will be until we get the dynamo back on the car, which will be in the course of a day or two.

The overall dimensions of these batteries are as follows:-

Willard battery - 14.5" long x 7.5" wide x 9.0" high.
Other battery - 14.6" " x 7.4" " x 9.0" "

Both these batteries would appear, from Mr. Elliott's sketch LeC.1109, to be two large for the Buick. It appears that we should have to obtain a new battery for this purpose.
We assume from Mr. Elliott's sketch that the limiting dimensions would have to be about 11" long x 7.25" wide x 8.25" high.
Shall we try and obtain a new battery which will suit these dimensions?
