S.S. CHASSIS - ENGINE COUPLING. Since writing my memo BY2/G.8.5.29. I have been able to talk the matter over with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} who has just returned from WW. The decision is that we use the fabric coupling from the first in J.2 series. O.O. and Sft.{Mr Swift} should therefore stop work on all the parts involved in the all metal coupling which are now not required. Mr. Daeth will issue a list of the parts in the coupling to be cancelled, and we will look into the application of the fabric coupling which will be of precisely Phantom form. BY.{R.W.
