VISIT OF 22-EX. & CADILLAC TO BROOKLANDS.

The above two cars were tested on the track at Brooklands yesterday for lap speeds and the following figures were obtained -

Lap Speed. Half Mile.
Cadillac 87.84 MPH. 87.38 MPH.

22-EX. 19" wheels
fitted. 87.22 MPH. Not taken.

21" wheels
fitted. 89.58 MPH. Not taken.

We also ran 22-EX. at full throttle in top gear to see of we could dry up the petrol feed from the Autovac (Main supply) to the carburetter. This we succeeded in doing after 5 1/2 laps, i.e. 15.218 miles.
