Condition of car: Louvred bonnet.
- CUTOUT OPEN: Oil temp. 80°C, Water temp. 70°C, Seats Front 32°C, Seats Rear 29°C
- CUTOUT CLOSED: Oil temp. 88°C, Water temp. 74°C, Seats Front 33°C, Seats rear 31°C

Condition of car: Shuttered bonnet.
- CUTOUT OPEN: Oil temp. 87°C, Water temp. 75°C
- CUTOUT CLOSED: Oil temp. 90°C, Water temp. 79°C, Seats Front 35°C, Seats rear *

Condition of car: Plain bonnet. Tail removed.

Condition of car: Undershield removed.

Condition of car: 46-PK bonnet shutters closed.

Condition of car: Ditto - shutters <strike>closed</strike> OPEN.
- CUTOUT CLOSED: Water temp. 88°C, <strike>78°</strike>C, 90°C

NOTES:
All temperatures under running conditions and reduced to the mean atms. temperature in the shade for the tests of 20°C.
Condition of car for test : Complete undershield and tail, 17 tooth axle, 5 to 1 comp: ratio, turbulent head, aluminium engine. No.1 modified camshaft, heat shield for silencer.
The temp. of the front seats was taken in the centre of the car immediately under the instrument board, that of the rear seats just above the floor boards in line with the front of the rear seats in the centre of the car.
