HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} C- to SC. WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} DY.{F R Danby} P. 2. DIAMOND SUSPENSION FOR POWER UNIT. ORIGINAL x-7005- We send you herewith blueprint of LeC 2875. shewing the sch. we have made for-a crossmember and front pivot in connection with the diamond mounting. We have sent a print to R.{Sir Henry Royce} for his comments. The construction is so arranged that the wheelcase can be removed by dissembling the cross beam and pivot leaving the cross member in place after the jacking screws shewn on the side members have been screwed up down to take the weight of the engine. The radiator may be removed at any time after the starting handle shaft has been withdrawn. A sch. will be required for the front end of this starting handle shaft incorporating a spring to retain the shaft in a forward position. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
