Dear Sir,

Patent for Rectilinear Radius Arm.

In reply to your letter of the 27th ultimo, we would say that, having very carefully considered this proposition, we have come to the conclusion that it is one much too big for ourselves to hope to handle at present with any likelihood of success, and while thanking you very much for giving us the opportunity of interesting ourselves in this device, we regret that we cannot see our way to go further in the matter.

We would ask you to accept our sincere apologies with reference to the time taken to consider this matter, which has been largely due to the writer, who has been laid up for very nearly a month, and it has been extremely difficult to find the time to give the drawings and specifications the careful attention and consideration which they undoubtedly deserve.

We sincerely hope that you may be successful in getting one of the larger firms, blessed with a little more capital available for experimental work than are we, to co-operate with you, as we feel sure that there are quite definite possibilities in this very clever idea.

Yours faithfully,

For T.T.N. PATENTS LIMITED,
[Signature: A C Thimmer]
Director.
