Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.21/MH{M. Huckerby} DATE Wed.15th Sept.1937. Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, For Attention of Mr.Leslie. With further reference to your letter of the 9th September to our Mr. Armstrong, we have taken up the question of R.R.53.C with our suppliers and they are of the opinion that this will be reasonably easy to cast. With regard to your remark re. bushes, we should be obliged if you would advise us whether in the event of your placing an order with us for these parts you would be prepared to take the castings without bushes if supplied in R.R.53.C. This information is urgently required, and we should be obliged if you would let us have same at your earliest convenience. Yours faithfully, p.p. ARMSTRONG'S PATENTS CO LTD. | ||
