fitted to the chassis when it is sent to Barkers, and that thus it would be impossible to tell this chassis from our ordinary present-day standard design, with the exception of large radiator, bonnet and dashboard with, of course, the subframe fittings?

We are most anxious that Mr. Royce's car shall be finished in the best possible style by Barkers, and at the same time that we shall do everything possible to prevent rumours spreading that we are about to produce a modified chassis.

To send a modified chassis to Barkers is about the same as advertising it in the 'Autocar' so far as keeping the fact a secret is concerned.
