I send you herewith the results of Mr Platford's further tests with the open and also the filled-in dashboard with the various body windows opened and closed etc.
The results confirm the fact that the water does not boil so easily with the dashboard open but they also confirm the higher floorboard temperatures obtained with the open dashboard.
As promised in the minutes of the last meeting Mr Spinney has been into the question of obtaining a greater area for ventilation in the engine guards, and I understand he can increase this area by nearly 50%. This is chiefly obtained by increasing the length of the slats and carrying them under the frame and also under the crankchamber horizontal web.
