Ps. Paris. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} (Sales.) With reference to the samples of oils brought by Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} from Paris. We have had the samples analysied and they follow closely the Price's oils. If the oils supplied in bulk could be relied upon to be up to the same quality as the sample, there should be no trouble. With oils, we have to rely on the reputation of the Firms who supply us. We have no knowledge of the suppliers of the samples you have sent and we would recommend that you do not fix up any large contracts but work on small quantities until you have had considerable experience using the oil on the cars and also in dealing with the suppliers.
