X8770 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from CJ. re Long Type Chassis. CJ10/E22/10/25 Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} I note that in Hsl/LG15/10/25 it is suggested that in a large number of cases the long chassis is entirely unnecessary. The fact of whether it is necessary or unnecessary is settled by the purchaser and cannot be controlled by the Experimental Dept. nor by any one else in the Company. Out of 511 Phantom's, which have been sold, only 7.82% were short chassis and of these only 13 were to be fitted with open bodies. CJ. | ||
