Messrs. Ferodo Ltd.,
CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH.

For the attention of Mr.Sutcliffe.

Dear Sirs,

When at our works recently Mr.Sutcliffe discussed with the writer the use of your material "Ferobestos" for water pump bush etc., and promised to send us some samples of same. We would be glad if you could let us have a quotation within the next few days for the bush and thrust ring shown on the attached drawings, in a finished machined condition, (a) in lots of 200, and (b) in lots of 1,000. We should also be glad if you could let us have a sample bar of this material, 1/2" in diameter and approximately 1' long.

We note from your letter that you are still not in production with your "Ferogrip" fan belts.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
