X4118 To EY/HM. {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T5.12.24. X.4383. 20 HP. DYNAMO No.838 - EX CHASSIS GAK56. Answering your EY/HM {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} 27/W2.12.24, the low output of this machine appeared to be due to a partial sticking control brush. The output was definitely low when the machine was first run, but upon touching the control brush the output came up to its full amount and it was not possible to repeat the phenomenon, though on one occasion there was a suggestion of repetition. Subsequent examination of the control brush appears to show everything in order and the machine has subsequently twice been put through our production test with entirely satisfactory results, and no further suggestion of the phenomenon. We are returning the dynamo herewith. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
