Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} RG.{Mr Rowledge} C. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} re. STEELS. X.1474. I feel it is quite possible to buy steels from a few other sources than Firth's that will do most of our work. Whether the price is better we should leave to ROY.{Sir Henry Royce}, but I quite understand that it is very difficult to know when we have got exactly the same, and whether the uniformity is going to be satisfactory. I would not risk this under 20% except in the unimportant parts. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
