Dear Mr. Grylls, It has occurred to me since our conversation last week that if you do not propose to carry out any more tests on the Bishop Gear on your dynamometer it might be interesting to you if we took the actual gear which you have tested and fit it up on a 25 h.p. Rolls Royce belonging to one of our people. We could then bring the vehicle up to you for a further examination. I propose in any case to have this car fitted up with a Bishop Gear but if you do not want the one we have made for you it would save us a very great deal of time and expense if you would return it to us to be fitted, after which you could make direct comparisons between the Bishop Gear and gears of another manufacture on a similar chassis. Yours faithfully, For CAM GEARS LTD., R.{Sir Henry Royce} Pentony Director. | ||
