X 3398 EFC2/AT 8.5.19. Messrs. Peto & Radford Accum. Co.,Ltd., 12, Heddon Street, Regent Street, London W. Dear Sirs, Many thanks for your two letters Ref.M/C54 & M/C35 of the 25th ult. and the 3rd. inst. respectively. We note the capacities you have obtained from the 9 plate sections. We regret to say that, in spite of alteration of density, we have not obtained any substantially better results from either of your two batteries than previously, so that we shall be particularly interested to see what we obtain from the one you are sending in for us in the charged condition. We do not favour having cable lengths on each cell, as you suggest, but the use of heavily covered links and nuts for the cell to cell connections would comply with our specification and still make the cells just as interchangeable. Regarding the curve sent to us, we notice that this was taken at a 3 ampere rate of discharge, our figures have been based on a 6 ampere rate of discharge. Yours faithfully, | ||
