Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
D E R B Y.

Dear Sirs,

FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. F.LL.SMITH

The Writer had a discussion with your Mr. Robotham one day during the Motor Show, and the question of Eyebolts was raised.

It was felt that we ought to cover ourselves for material so that a hold-up such as that which occurred the other week cannot be repeated.

We have therefore been in touch with another source of supply and have got a sample of S.82 Steel such as they make.

We are enclosing this sample herewith, and shall be glad if you will arrange for your Chemist to check up on this and let us have your report immediately as to whether he thinks that the material is in every sense as good as that which you are supplying at the moment.

Immediately we have this report from you we will then arrange to obtain a booster stock, sufficient for some hundreds of Eyebolts.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LTD.

Manager
