Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} DDO X5310. BY/20/N.8.11.29 I would like to remind you that we have produced some special gears with long adendum teeth for the 3rd.speed of the 20 HP. Gearbox. The set of gears are G.53818/9/20. Three sets of these have been produced and I would like special attention to be given to them in order to get an exact comparison as to whether they are quieter than our standard gears or not. Personally I feel they should be a decided improvement. In addition to the special form of teeth, we have designed the teeth to give a constant meshing position of two teeth always in contact as against 1 -2 or 2-3 as in normal combination. BY, | ||
