X4079 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Extract from RL/M29.5.24. RE CARS FOR WW. X.4079. 6-EX. This car has been running well except when attempting to run on battery ignition only. I have just discovered that it has one of the defective coils (bakelite) on it. We should take care that all of these have been removed from all cars in service for ourselves, customers, and trials. The defect only appears when the engine gets hot. You will remember that this car has been here while I was away, but the defect had not been discovered. | ||
