CHASSIS Experimental Test Report: The design closely follows the new steering recently standardised for Phantom. It is a definite improvement over the present standard. This new steering necessitates the R.H. turning circle being increased from 41 ft. to 47 ft. Road Test Report: Run 10,000 miles in France on 10-G-111. The bottom flange on column failed - this was made in brazing metal - the part is now being made in steel. Fitted to 9-G-111 - run 1000 miles. Recommended for standardisation. It has been agreed that an extra stay will have to be fitted to support the column. Weight of Old Part. Weight of New Part. Difference per Car. Cost of Old Part: £ 29. 7. 0.
