EXPENSES.
As it was necessary for me to go to Abingdon on domestic business for the week-end, the expense in fare to the firm consists only of the double journey (90 miles each way) between Abingdon and West WitteringHenry Royce's home town. I do not know the exact railway fare as the journey was made privately by road (which is shorter) so am charging for 180 miles at the usual 1½d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} per mile.
