TO: Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1204 D1/DL26.6.37. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} writes as follows :- "Please report to me whether it is clearly understood by every department at Derby that should anyone wish to use the telephone for private purposes, before asking for the number they require, they should inform our operator that it is a private call. The operator will then make arrangements for the user to be charged for the call." Please let me know if this is understood in your department, so that I may report to Sg.{Arthur F.
