WRAITH SHOCK DAMPERS.

The attached note explains what work is being done on Wraith dampers.

Put briefly, the shock dampers that are instructed for production are rather more harsh than is desirable in a car used for town carriage work; we are using them because they have been thoroughly tested and because they are a reasonable manufacturing proposition.

The dampers which give a softer ride are either impractical from a manufacturing point of view, or else are not reliable. The report herewith explains how we are developing a damper which will be satisfactory both in performance and cost.
