Continued report on the gumming tendency of rings with varying groove clearances and stiffness.

| contd :- -2- hard carbon found in the previous test. Therefore we may say that from these tests :- (1) The gumming tendency is less with rings having large groove clearance than those having small clearance. (2) The gumming tendency is more marked with weak than with stiff rings.
