Copy to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} " " Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} Levallois Sr/VAl/GM.25.7.38 re: FITTING OF LARGE CAPACITY OIL PUMPS TO 3 1/2 LITRE BENTLEY CHASSIS. ================================== With reference to the last two paragraphs of your By.20/G.21.6.38, and our Sr/VA.4/CM.15.7.38, we are doing everything possible to fit large oil pumps to all 3 1/2 litre chassis on which Hall's metal big-end bearings have been fitted, and the following is the present position:- B. 34.BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} - Dr. PLESCH - 15.7.38- Fitted a large pump, owner has agreed to pay Fcs: 750.-- B. 73.EJ - Mr. de BRAUX-15.7.38- Fitted a large pump, owner has agreed to pay Fcs: 650.-- B.118.CR{Mr Cra???ster / Mr Chichester} - Mr. STRAUSS -22.7.38- Fitted a large pump, owner has agreed to pay Fcs: 700.-- B. 19.DK -Mr. FERENCZI - This owner has been absent from Paris for several weeks. Upon his return to Paris, next week, he will send the car to us so that we can fit a large pump and agrees to pay Fcs: 650.--. B. 33.CW - Mr. LACOMBE - We have written to this owner who is absent from Paris and offered to send him a large pump, in the event of him not returning to Paris with his car in the near future. As the guarantee of this car has been extended and other circumstances, we shall have to fit the pump free of cost. B. 28.DG - Mr. SERT - We have written to this owner and offered to fit a large pump for the special price of Fcs: 750.--. The owner said that he will take the matter up with his driver and then send the car to us. B.171.DK - Mr. LECOULTRE- The Works upon our advise are sending a large pump to this owner who resides in Geneva. ******* | ||
