Re the gear box we are arranging at Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence.

With regard to the above we have introduced thrust bearings with a view of using a single helical gear for the sideshaft.

I think that if we can adopt these for the 4-speed box there should be absolutely no trouble from noisy sideshafts while the car is standing still.
