Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/G1714. Re Spring Bolts. B. Has the leather packing under the springs been abandoned? If not please do so. The bumping test is quite a safe guide. C. We can break a cross steering lever on the bumping rig in rather short time, especially if the joint is allowed to become slack through wear of adjustment. Test this slack feature. Let me know the value of a new lever from the dies as they were and the improved value of a lever from the dies at present standard. F.{Mr Friese} H.{Arthur M.
