File No. 1804.

Silver Wraith and Silver Cloud Cars for Switzerland.

A new Swiss regulation makes mascots illegal after June 1st 1956 and so it will be necessary to remove the Flying Lady mascot from the L.O.P. for cars to be exported to Switzerland.

We already have a scheme for use when customers do not wish to have a mascot. It comprises an ornamental button with a threaded shank and nut to hold the existing cap in position.

The scheme is PL 7620 and it was issued on July 2nd 1954. This was subsequently detailed and the button was given the number UE.1581.

Will you please modify the L.O.P. to delete the mascot and use this button in its place on all Silver Wraiths and Silver Clouds to be exported to Switzerland.
