X.3039 - RE RESISTANCE WIRE FOR HEATING COILS FOR TENSILE TESTS OF ALUMINIUM ALLOYS

With reference to enquiries for the above which you have made for us, and the answers we have received from Messrs. Ferranti Ltd., Arora Co., and Belling & Co., we would like you now to write again to Messrs. Belling Co., and ask them to either supply us with the necessary wire, or to make up two heating coils for us according to the particulars which are given on the two sheets herewith.

It should be mentioned, perhaps, that these heating coils are for heating Tensile Test Specimens during test of the machine. We think that these two sheets of Mr. Hall's will give the necessary particulars and we shall be glad to hear what they can do for us in this matter.
