X/7650 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: E.F.C. Date: 14-5-1929 Order No.: WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}62 Customer's No.: X 7650 Duplex push button switch to original design LEC 2199. One of these switches was recently removed from expl chassis 9EX having been used regularly over a mileage of 33550 miles, and fitted to expl S.S. chassis 19EX. The switch was examined during transition and was found to be working OK although it was found necessary to renew one set of carbon contacts as the original ones had worn allowing the gold silver contacts to make first. We consider this quite a credit-able performance in view of the large larger current it has dealt with most of the time. Signed: H E W. | ||
